Tubes


Tubes – e.g.; test tubes, boiling tubes, drying tubes

Test tubes are available in a multitude of lengths and widths to serve a varying number of needs.

Test Tubes

Used:

Designed to allow easy heating of these samples, aid pouring of a liquid from the test tube to a beaker and for running small scale experiments, typically tests

Boiling tubes - larger test tubes used for boiling of small quantities of reaction mixtures. A boiling tube looks like a test tube. Used to strongly heat substances in the flame of a Bunsen burner commonly made from Pyrex glass which can withstand high temperatures


Drying Tubes

Drying tubes, acid trap tubes, scrubbing trap tubes and containers. A variety of empty glass drying tubes. Drying tubes are often used in less-demanding applications, typically in organic syntheses
